Ben the Bunny

We spent Easter with Mike's family this year. We drove up on Saturday and had dinner together as a family. Sunday, while Dana, Kathryn, Jim, and Gina were at church, we stayed home with Ben and prepared an Easter egg hunt on the steps up to the house. Ben had quite the eye and found the eggs with ease, with only a little help from Momma and Dadda. We also dressed up Ben like a bunny rabbit. Too cute.

Short Ben Update:
Ben is tolerating more time on his tummy and attempts to move his arms and legs but doesn't go anywhere. With help he will roll from back to tummy and back again! Go Ben!

Holy Cow! He's 3 Months Old!!!

We have had a good month so far. Christine is feeling so much better, Mike has been busy with work and conferences and Ben just keeps growing and growing. He is now about 17lbs and 24" long. Ben smiles when we look at him and is now giggling and belly laughing when we pounce on him. He loves to try to lay on his tummy and look around and is trying to grab things with his little hands. He loves to watch us eat and we are beginning to feel guilty eating in front of him. I think we will try some food soon. This month we dressed Ben up in Christine's Christening Gown which was loads of fun. We thought we better do it now, since he won't fit into it later! We had a great trip back to Christine's home. Ben liked hanging out with Emma, Forrest, Jordan, Jesse and Elliott and just loved watching them play and talk.
