Easter Sunday

After church, we changed out of our Sunday best and enjoyed a scrumptious brunch back at our place with Nana, G-Pa, Jim, Gina, and Thomas.  Then we caught word that the Easter bunny had visited the backyard so we grabbed our baskets and went for a hunt.



In the afternoon we attempted to go to the park to ride the train and visit the Easter bunny but a sudden thunderstorm rolled in and we were forced to stay put.  The storm brought heavy winds and even hail with it but disappeared as quickly as it arrived.  We ate a dinner of lamb, smashed veggies, asparagus, deviled eggs, and homemade bread and went on a walk before coming back for a dessert of pound cake with homemade whipped cream.  It was a delicious Easter!

Easter Saturday

G-Pa and Nana are staying with us for Easter weekend!  Today Jim, Gina, and Thomas came over too and a full day of fun and joys for little boys ensued.

Christine set out a bowl of cheese puffs and Thomas and Andrew ran up and started shoving as many as possible into their mouths.



Ben and Thomas played out in the backyard while Andrew napped.

When Andrew woke up we played in the sandbox,



Ben and Andrew hugged for the camera and made our hearts melt,



and we all decided to take a walk to the park.



When we returned, we ate a delicious dinner of chili and an even more delicious dessert of cheesecake, both supplied by Nana and G-Pa!
