Padding
Jim, Gina, and Thomas came over this evening so they could put Thomas down for bed here while they go out to eat at a nearby restaurant with friends.
Mike brought home some new padding to go under the rug in our living room so he and Jim got to work rolling and cutting, but not before everyone had some fun on the floor!
While we were relaxing on the freshly padded rug, Andrew thought it would be a good idea to see what Aunt Gina's face tasted like.
Thomas didn't go down so easily so we sent the very late Jim and Gina on their way to dinner and Mike the Baby Whisperer was finally able to get Thomas to sleep through the magic of the Blackberry!

Snow Day
Dadda got up extra early (4:30!) and drove to work this morning from Jim and Gina's and beat the new snow fall we received this later this morning!
When three boys woke up, they modeled the new bibs made by Nana while eating their breakfasts.
Ben played with the play-doh.
Thomas and Andrew monitored the power outages and closings.
The boys played "pile on Uncle Jim."
Thomas and Andrew moved to the window and watched the fresh batch of snow start to fall.
We all decided it would be a great idea to skype with Uncle Bill / overwhelm Bill with lots of people and voices.
Andrew went down for a nap and Uncle Jim took Thomas and Ben outside to play in the snow.
Thomas used Jim to block the wind.
Ben and Jim worked on Mr. Snowman.
We all went inside for hot chocolate and warm oatmeal.
Shortly after lunch, Christine took the boys home when we learned that our power had returned late last night. Hooray for electricity!

Power Outage Family Reunion
We lost power at 10:30 last night and it has not returned yet! Christine packed up the boys (Mike joined us after work) and brought Ben and Andrew over to play and stay with Uncle Jim, Aunt Gina, and Cousin Thomas until the power is back on.
We brought over a chicken, potato, and leek soup and we all enjoyed it for dinner!

Christmas Again!
Nana, G-Pa, Uncle Jim, Aunt Gina, and Cousin Thomas came over to celebrate Christmas again today! They brought over lasagna, brownies, and cake-pan cake and we made fudge.
Uncle Jim and Aunt Gina gave Ben a mini-piano with an attached microphone and he had a lot of fun testing it out!

Arranging Baby Food in the New Year
Ben and Thomas made a game of arranging jars of baby food on the steps this morning.
Then we all went on a walk around the block and wished the neighbors a Happy New Year!
