The ceremony was very small and private and the deacon was very relaxed and even let the kids come up and explore during the baptism.
Andrew thought being baptized was the coolest thing ever!
After the baptism, lots of family photos were taken. Godparents are Christine's brother Jim and our sister-in-law Gina!
Afterward, we all went out back and played on the church playground. Evan found the static from the slide when he went for a ride.
And Jim and Thomas shared the tunnel.
Back at our place, Andrew got busy playing with his cousins.
He fell in love with his Mickey Mouse birthday card (it sang the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Theme Song!).
We put a candle on a cupcake for Andrew and sang Happy Birthday to him again!
We also lit cupcakes for all the rest of the little boys, and the other November birthdays:
Kathryn:
Mike:
And Dave, but he was too quick for us to snap a picture!
The boys were very interested in their flames.
Andrew, meanwhile, was busy devouring his cupcake!
We took our sugar rushes on a walk to the park up the street.
Ben was insistent that he pull Aunt Gina in the wagon and was actually able to pull her!
By the time we made it to the park, Thomas was out cold.
He wasn't aware of the great effort Grandpa Dana put into pushing the stroller up the big hill.
Uncle Jim decided to relive the days of his youth through the monkey bars.
On the way back to Mike and Christine's, Ben decided to pull Momma.
In the front yard, we had a leaf fight:
Grandpa Dana was slightly awake though and almost let us get away with taking a picture of him snoozing.
We played with the dress up box and Ben became a bird-witch with a laser gun.
Uncle Jim became an alien.
Evan tried on some glasses.
Thomas did his best Top Gun impression.
We ended the evening around the train table.
